Sam is a litigation, dispute resolution, and competition law specialist, with experience advising market-leading clients on significant and complex commercial and competition disputes.
​​​​​Sam has extensive national and international experience in major commercial and competition disputes, and has represented clients from a range of industries in the District Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal.
Sam joined Bell Gully in 2012, and recently returned from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, where he advised global organisations on complex disputes of all kinds, including competition law class actions, mass tort claims, and international arbitration.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford, and is an author of the American Bar Association's Antitrust Class Actions Handbook (2nd ed).
Sam has been recognised as a Future Leader in competition law by Who's Who Legal. Clients described Sam has “a very intelligent and knowledgeable lawyer who always provides timely and well thought through advice".​
