Associate Director - Commercial Development Programs at Bell Flight

Thuva Senthilnathan, P.Eng., MBA has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the aerospace industry. Thuva began their career at Bell Flight in 2012 as an Associate Technical Specialist in Airframe Design, and later became a Technical Specialist in Design Tools and Standards. Thuva then served as a Production Supervisor at the Composites Manufacturing Center (CMC), where they managed a team of 20 employees and ensured safety, quality, and delivery of parts. Thuva also held positions as a Project Manager for Bell Commercial Helicopters and as an Engineering Manager.

In 2019, Thuva was promoted to Senior Manager in Commercial Development Programs, leading efforts to commercialize product upgrades and develop new products across various segments. Thuva was responsible for strategic planning, market research, business development, and program management.

Currently, Thuva is an Associate Director for Commercial Development Programs at Bell Flight, managing the execution of a new aircraft development program. Thuva'sresponsibilities include engineering development, market/sales strategy, production, and entry into service. Thuva leads a team of 7 managers and over 100 individual contributors.

Outside of their work at Bell Flight, Thuva serves as the President of the Vertical Flight Society Montreal/Ottawa Chapter. In the past, they also gained experience as a Simulation Developer at the McGill Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, working on projects related to computational optimization and mesh generation/adaptation.

Thuva's work experience highlights their expertise in aerospace engineering, program management, and leadership roles within the industry.

Thuva Senthilnathan, P.Eng., MBA has a diverse education history. Thuva obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Global Leadership & Strategy from McGill University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University from 2008 to 2012. Before entering university, Thuva attended Vanier College from 2006 to 2008 where they obtained a Science DEC in Pure and Applied Science. Lastly, they completed their MEQ Secondary School Diploma with a focus on International Baccalaureate Middle at Marymount Academy between 2001 and 2006.
