Ryan Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in aerospace and financial planning. Currently serving as Rotors IPT Manager and Principal Engineer at Bell Flight since July 2020, Ryan's role focuses on the V280 FLRAA program. Prior to this, Ryan held various positions at American Airlines from June 2017 to July 2020, including Manager of the Five Year Plan and Senior Financial Analyst. Ryan started a notable career at Sikorsky Aircraft between May 2007 and June 2017, leading as Staff Engineer Rotor Systems Analyst and supervising rotor structures. Ryan's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Engineer and Engineer Rotor Systems Analyst at Bell Helicopter. Academically, Ryan holds an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
