Ruth Hengari is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President and Controller of Global Finance at Turnitin since December 2021, Ruth previously held various senior positions including Director of Global Accounting at Imperva, where duties encompassed overseeing a global close process for 17 legal entities and managing international payroll. Ruth's academic background includes a BSc Hons in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast and a PgDip in Advanced Accounting from the University of Ulster. Additional experiences range from financial accounting management at Axiom to comprehensive auditing roles at BDO in both the Cayman Islands and Northern Ireland. Ruth is recognized for strong analytical skills, effective team leadership, and expertise in US GAAP compliance.
