Joel Mowatt is a seasoned design consultant with expertise in automatic transmissions, currently working at Belcan since June 2019. Prior to this role, Joel Mowatt served at General Motors from 1982 to 2019, holding significant positions including Global Chief Engineer, where leadership was provided for the design and development of several key automatic transmission product lines. As Engineering Group Manager and in other managerial roles, Joel Mowatt oversaw engineering, design, development, and analysis for various hybrid and electric vehicle transmissions. Joel Mowatt holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
