Mark Shannon

Vice President - Acquisitions & Content Strategy at beIN Media Group

Mark Shannon has a diverse work experience in the media and sports industry. Mark began their career in 2002 as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Sportcal. In 2005, they joined BBC Worldwide as a Sport Sales Manager. Mark then moved to The Football Association in 2008, where they served as a Broadcast Rights Manager and later became the Head of Broadcast until 2015. During their time at The Football Association, Mark also founded and served as a Trustee for the Football Action charity, which aims to inspire children and promote education through football in developing countries. Most recently, since 2015, they have been working at beIN MEDIA GROUP, initially as the Director of Acquisitions and Content Strategy and currently as the Vice President - Acquisitions & Content Strategy.

Mark Shannon attended Loughborough University where they studied Geography & Sport Science.
