Yiwei Yu is an accomplished executive currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Global President and COO at BeiGene since March 2023. Previously, Yiwei held the position of Executive Director and Chief of Staff at Bayer, supporting the President of Bayer Group and Bayer Pharmaceuticals in China, and leading significant strategic projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Project Manager at Bayer Strategy & Business Consulting, where extensive project work was conducted across China, ASEAN, and India. Yiwei also held key roles at BASF, where management of European OEM accounts and team leadership resulted in substantial market growth. Early career roles included consulting positions at Bain & Company and Roland Berger, as well as an internship at UBS Investment Bank. Yiwei holds a Diplom in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a Bachelor in Material Science & Technology from Shanghai University, and a Certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.
