In 2021, they began working as a Product Manager for Beforepay. In 2020, they worked as a Product Manager for Cover-More Group. In 2019, they were a Board Observer for The Observership Program, and in 2018, they were a Co-Founder for pot not pot and a Digital Optimisation Manager for Westpac. In 2015, they founded Tomaj Bayat & Company, a social enterprise to solve the endemic problem that small charities struggle to become financially sustainable. From 2012 to 2010, they worked at Vodafone Australia as a Process Manager and Digital Analyst, and from 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Front-end Developer for CX agency Lavender and a Web Designer for FishVision Mobile And Web Solutions.
Tomaj Bayat attended the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Economics at UNSW in 2012.
