Erin McCarthy is currently a Board Member at Bedford Group Inc. but they have worked in many different positions over the years. Erin started out as a Senior Residential Teacher/Case Manager at The May Institute from October 2003 to January 2004. Erin then became a Family Services Coordinator at The May Institute from January 2004 to October 2008. After that, they became a Tutor/Counselor at American Student Assistance from November 2012 to May 2013. Finally, they became a Certified Peer Specialist at The Edinburg Center from June 2014 to April 2016. In this position, they provided direct support to 8 individuals in living in the community in mental health recovery by relaying information about individual recovery, related events and opportunities for advocacy, expression and celebration.
Erin McCarthy has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a H.S. Diploma from Marshfield High School, and a Certification in Human Resources from Massasoit Community College.
