Skip Maino, PhD, serves as Sr. Medical Advisor at The Hive since 2000, providing scientific guidance for an angel investment community that explores big data applications in healthcare. Additionally, Skip has held the position of Scientific Director at BD Bosciences since 1983 and has been a Scientific Director and BD Fellow at The Hive, LLC since 2014. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics and Microbiology from the University of Rochester (1970-1972) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cell Biology from UC San Diego (1967-1970).
