James Boatswain is an experienced commercial manager and quantity surveyor with a diverse background in large-scale infrastructure projects and contract administration. Currently serving as a Commercial Manager at Transport for London since March 2016, James has played a key role in the Silvertown Tunnel Development Consent Order. Prior experience includes significant contributions to the Crossrail Project at Bechtel Corporation, where James managed contracts worth over £200 million, overseeing change management and a team of contract administrators. Previous roles at Mace and Tube Lines involved managing multimillion-pound projects, focusing on cost management and contractor oversight. James holds a Master's degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and a BSc (Hons) in Business and Information Technology.
