Jeffrey Baluch is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., since November 2018, where responsibilities include program management for engineering teams focused on design verification and supplier oversight for next-generation nuclear submarine reactor instrumentation. Baluch has successfully negotiated multi-million dollar supplier contracts and has served as the lead engineer addressing instrumentation and control issues at prototype training nuclear reactors. Prior to this role, Baluch was a Lieutenant and Submarine Officer in the US Navy from June 2011 to November 2018, where notable achievements included being selected as the first Junior Officer Staff Instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, alongside extensive training in nuclear power and mechanical engineering.
