Patricia Kocsondy has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, particularly in roles related to cyber and technology risks. Patricia is currently the Head of Global Cyber Digital Risks at Beazley, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Head of US Cyber & Tech at Beazley starting in July 2021.
Before joining Beazley, Patricia worked at Chubb for a significant portion of their career. Patricia'sroles at Chubb included SVP, Major Accounts Cyber and E&O, Head of Professional Liability Products, and SVP, Major Accounts Cyber and E&O, Media E&O Product Manager. Patricia was also VP E&O Underwriting, Media Product Manager at ACE USA, which was later acquired by Chubb. Patricia began their tenure at Chubb as a Senior Attorney in the General Counsel Department of Chubb Specialty Insurance. Patricia'swork at Chubb spans from January 2011 to June 2021.
Prior to Chubb, Patricia worked at The Hartford as a Senior Bond Claim Representative in the Hartford Surety & Fidelity division, starting in February 2008 and concluding in January 2011.
Patricia Kocsondy completed their Bachelor of Science in International Political Economy at Georgetown University from 2000 to 2004. Patricia then pursued a Master's degree in Advanced International Studies at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna from 2004 to 2005. Patricia furthered their education by attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree between 2005 and 2008.
