Dongmei Lin, PhD, PE, PTOE, serves as the Senior Traffic Engineer at the City of Beaverton since August 2024. Prior roles include membership on the Strategic Plan Management Team and positions as Senior Traffic Engineer/Project Manager and Transportation Engineer at DKS Associates from June 2016 to August 2024, where responsibilities included transportation analysis and traffic signal operations. Dongmei was also a founding member of the DEIB Committee. Earlier experience includes a Postdoc Researcher role at the University of Nevada Reno, focusing on project management and transportation research, as well as teaching various courses. Other roles include research assistant at Beijing Jiaotong University and transportation analyst at the Transport Research Centre in Madrid. Dongmei holds a PhD in Transportation Planning and Management from Beijing Jiaotong University and a Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce from the same institution. Educational experience also includes a study period at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
