Jaissa Feliz

Director Of Real Estate Development at Beacon Communities

Jaissa Feliz is an accomplished real estate development professional currently serving as the Director of Real Estate Development at Beacon Communities LLC since July 2019. In this role, Jaissa manages various affordable housing projects across Massachusetts and Connecticut, overseeing construction, design, and permitting for significant rehabilitation efforts including a 335-unit project in New Haven and a 285-unit public housing project in Boston. Previously, Jaissa held the position of Project Manager at Dorchester Bay EDC, managing an $18 million senior affordable housing development and securing financing for a $20 million rehabilitation project. Earlier experiences include a Tisch Fellowship with the Labor Department under Governor Andrew Cuomo, teaching mathematics at Margarita Muñiz Academy, and internships with the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the US Treasury. Jaissa holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Tufts University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Teaching in Mathematics from Boston University, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Harvard University.
