Ben Kotara has extensive work experience as a Drilling Engineer Consultant. Ben started their career in 1980 at Mobil Oil and worked there until 1989. From 1990 to 1996, they worked at Conoco as a Drilling Engineer. Ben then moved to Shell Offshore and held the position of Drilling Engineer from 1996 to 2004. Following that, they worked at Expert E&P Consultants as a Drilling Engineer from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they were employed at Woodside Energy as a Drilling Engineer Consultant. Ben then joined Shell International E & P as a Drilling Engineer Consultant in 2010 and worked there until 2020. Currently, they are working at Beacon Offshore Energy as a Drilling Engineer Consultant.

Ben Kotara attended Louisiana Tech University from 1978 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
