Zach Benko has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Elkhart Health & Aquatics at Beacon Health System since October 2021. Previously, they worked as a Fitness Manager at Beacon Health System from October 2017 to October 2020. Zach held the position of President at Boys of Summer Baseball League from January 2010 to March 2020. Additionally, they served as an Academic Advisor at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee from June 2016 to October 2017, and as an Assistant Academic Counselor at the Thornton Athletics Student Life Center- University of Tennessee from July 2014 to July 2016. Prior to their academic roles, they gained experience as a Teacher and Coach at NorthWood High School from August 2009 to June 2014 and as a Teacher at Minooka Community High School from August 2008 to January 2009. Other positions they have held include EVS Tech 1 at RML Specialty Hospital from December 2007 to February 2008, Residential Builder at Papenhagen Construction from May 2007 to September 2007, and Road Worker at Lenawee County Road Commission from May 2003 to August 2004.
Zach Benko completed their Master's Degree in Kinesiology - Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Albion College, from 2004 to 2008. Zach Benko attended Blissfield High School from 2000 to 2004.
