Ms. Smith was the first female appointed as a President of Computer Science Corporation’s (CSC) North American Public Sector, running a $2 Billion IT Infrastructure Solutions Division. The ITIS division of CSC delivered proven complex communications system solutions focusing on telephony and voice systems, enterprise network integration and management, and IP convergence. Additionally, ITIS delivered proven cloud and mobile solutions, as well as managed services, host computing and end-user support services. ITIS managed the Enterprise Network Managed Services Center of Excellence and the Chantilly /Virginia Office of Innovation. The Center employed a flexible solution framework to successfully manage critical enterprise networks in a highly secure and reliable manner using the latest telecommunications technology to support CSC clients’ diverse business objectives. ITIS had a long legacy of successful collaboration with federal civil, defense, and IC agencies as well as state and local agencies. This Division also provided all internal IT support to the Public Sector with the CIO function reporting directly to the President’s Office.

Under Ms. Smith’s leadership, the ITIS business grew from $450 Million to $2 Billion with major wins including Homeland Security Stennis Data Center, under the Eagle vehicle, TSA I-TIP contract supporting their IT infrastructure and the Freedom Center, DISA’s DNM-SSG contract supporting their world-wide network, and EPA’s ITS-EPA contract, providing IT and Security services, just to name a few. She also provided all IT resources to the largest outsourced managed service contract award in the federal sector IC community.

Ms. Smith served as the President of Networks and Telecommunication Integrated Services and the Vice President of Operations for a $450 Million Division after the acquisition of DynCorp by CSC Public Sector. Previously, she was Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of DynCorp Information Systems LLC (DIS), formerly GTE Information Systems, where she directed all infrastructure support activities for the DIS LLC. Before joining DynCorp, she was Vice President and Director of Administrative Services for GRC International (now a division of AT&T). During her tenure with the above corporations, she actively engaged in mergers and acquisitions including the sale of Flow Laboratories, Inc. to ICN Pharmaceutical, the sale of GTE Information Systems LLC to DynCorp, and the sale of DynCorp to CSC, as well as, acquiring several small companies into the organizations for growth and increased capabilities in a growing market.
