Richard Witt is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent firms and organizations. Currently serving as Principal at BDP and BDP Quadrangle since 2019 and 2020 respectively, Richard is also the Chair of CTBUH Canada, focusing on issues related to tall buildings and urban habitats. Previous positions include Principal at Quadrangle – Architecture and Interiors, Co-Chair of the Program Committee at the Urban Land Institute, and founding partner of RAW, recognized as Ontario's Best Emerging Practice in 2009. Richard has contributed to architectural advocacy as Chair of the Toronto Society of Architects and has held roles at Quadrangle Architects and Foster and Partners. Richard holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo.
