MICHAEL GATELA is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in credit operations, collections, and remedial management. Currently serving in Consumer Remedial Management at BDO Unibank since October 2024, previous roles include Credit Operations Head at UNO Digital Bank, and Country Manager at McGrath & Arthur® group, where MICHAEL also held a position on the Board of Directors. Earlier in the career, MICHAEL was a Senior Sales Portfolio Manager and MDRT Premier Advisor at AIA Philam Life, achieving MDRT qualification in 2021. Additional experience includes key positions at Security Bank Corporation, BDO Unibank, GE Money Bank, Citi, and RCBC Bankard Services Corporation. MICHAEL holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the East and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Philippine Christian University.
