Michael Rayner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, currently serving as a Director at BDO South Africa since January 2018. Previously, Michael held the positions of Associate Director and Corporate Finance Manager at BDO, and worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at Grant Thornton Advisory Services Cape from January 2015 to February 2019. Michael's expertise includes financial and commercial due diligence, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and startup advisory. Michael began their career as a Trainee Accountant at Grant Thornton South Africa, where responsibilities included team management, financial statement auditing, and tax calculations. Michael holds a Post Graduate Degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
