Basil Parker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect - Cloud at BCX since September 2019, Basil specializes in providing modern networking solutions focused on SDWAN. Prior to this role, Basil worked at Telkom Business from April 1983 to November 2014, holding various positions including Solutions Architect, IT Specialist, Technical Officer, Senior Telecom Electrician, and Telecom Electrician. In these roles, responsibilities included the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of major WAN/LAN and hosting solutions for numerous corporate clients, installation and commissioning of network equipment, and troubleshooting of telecommunication services. Basil's skills encompass a wide range of network technologies, with an emphasis on IP-based networks utilizing Cisco and Fortinet equipment.
