Kendra (Smyth) Kabay currently serves as the COO of BCG Federal at Boston Consulting Group, a position held since November 2021, after progressing from roles as Project Leader and Consultant between 2017 and 2021. Prior to joining BCG, Kendra was a PhD Candidate at Duke University from 2012 to 2017, focusing on ecoimmunology and investigating the immune system's interplay with environmental factors. Additional experience includes a role as an Evolutionary Medicine Graduate Fellow at Duke University Health System, where a novel biological therapeutic was developed for chronic inflammatory diseases, and research positions at the University of Maryland and the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, contributing to projects in immunology and conservation biology. Kendra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology from Duke University and a Master of Science (MS) in Immunology from the University of Maryland.
