Thaddäus Pollmächer's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Thaddäus started their career at Deutsche Bank in 2008 as a Summer Intern in M&A-Midcap. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research, where they conducted statistical analysis and participated in seminars. Thaddäus then briefly worked as a Portfolio Analyst at Protagonizar, a Microfinance Institution. In 2015, they joined Deutsche Bank again, this time in Process Management, where they developed a central source for retail banking processes and redesigned workflow paths. In 2017, they had roles at both Allianz and Goldman Sachs, where they worked as a Spring Research Analyst and an Equity Researcher, respectively. Since 2019, they have been working at BCG BrightHouse, starting as a Strategist and progressing to Senior Strategist before becoming an Associate Strategy Director.

Thaddäus Pollmächer completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Economics and Social Sciences at Università Bocconi from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the University of Bayreuth from 2011 to 2014 but did not graduate with a specific degree. In 2012, they briefly studied Theoretical Philosophy and Philosophy of Economics at The University of British Columbia.
