Gareth Reeves has extensive experience in the legal field. Gareth is currently working as a Legal Counsel at BC Financial Services Authority since November 2021. Prior to this, Gareth served as a Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel at Compass Offices from April 2021 to July 2021, and from August 2019 to March 2021, respectively.

Before joining Compass Offices, Gareth worked at McQuarrie for a significant period, starting as an Articled Student from May 2014 to December 2014. Gareth then became an Associate from December 2014 to March 2019.

In 2013, Gareth gained valuable experience as a Student at Law at the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench from June 2013 to March 2014.

Gareth also worked as a Summer Articled Student at McQuarrie from April 2012 to August 2012, and as a Summer Intern at King & Wood Mallesons from May 2011 to July 2011.

Gareth's work experience extends beyond the legal sector, as they previously worked as a Lead Hand at Go Green Landscaping from April 2006 to August 2010.

Gareth Reeves obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Toronto, where they completed a Master's Degree in Philosophy from 2009 to 2010. Gareth then went on to attend the University of Alberta from 2010 to 2013, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
