Victor Valdés

Victor Valdés has work experience in various roles and industries. Victor started their career in 1999 as a Campus Bilingual Coordinator and ESL Educator in different school districts. In this role, they developed lesson plans, prepared lessons, and presented subject matter according to guidelines. Victor also served on committees and coached basketball. From 2014 to 2015, Valdés worked as a Manager and Coordinator at Chalk Mountain Services of Texas. There, they coordinated the ordering and delivery of hydraulic fracturing sand and supervised sand trailer exchanges. More recently, Valdés worked at BCFS Health & Human Services as an IDCM Case Manager and Bilingual Teacher, providing disaster case management services and ensuring quality services are provided to individuals and families impacted by disasters.

Victor Valdés has a diverse education history. Victor obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Prior to this, they earned another Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education / Bicultural Bilingual Studies from Texas State University, which they pursued from 1997 to 1999. Victor'sBachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech Communications was also obtained from Texas State University and spanned from 1988 to 1993.

In addition to these degrees, Victor Valdés holds several certifications. Victor obtained the Instructional Leadership Development (ILD) certification and the Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS) certification from Education Service Center, Region 20 in July 2011. Victor also acquired the Principal (Grades EC - 12) certification from the Texas State Board of Education in April 2010. Victor Valdés possesses multiple certifications from the Texas State Board of Education, including Elementary Education - General Education; Self-Contained Grades 1-8; Bilingual / English as a Second Language (ESL) - Spanish Grades 1-8, which they obtained in May 1999.
