Tero Oinonen

Tero Oinonen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tero started their career in 2005 as a Sales & Marketing Director at Novartis Nordic and later worked as Sales and Marketing Director at AstraZeneca Finland. Tero then progressed to become the Vice President of Marketing Nordic-Baltic and Country Lead in Finland at AstraZeneca. Tero also briefly served as the Interim Head of a Nordic-Baltic marketing company within AstraZeneca.

In 2016, Tero transitioned into strategic consulting and business development roles. Tero worked as a Senior Manager of Business Development at Helsinki Innovation Services and later as a Business Developer at the University of Helsinki. In 2015, Tero co-founded Spark Partners Oy, a strategic consulting firm focused on the life science sector, where they served as a Founding Partner until 2020.

Tero has also been involved in various board member positions. Tero was a Board Member at 4Pharma Ltd, a contract research organization, and held board positions at The Solubility Company and VEIL.AI. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President of North Europe at BC Platforms, a role they assumed in 2023.

Throughout their career, Tero has gained expertise in sales and marketing strategy, competitive analysis, market access, change management, product launches, and business development, with a geographical focus on the Nordic countries.
