Manuel Valdes is a seasoned Data Scientist at BBVA AI Factory since January 2017, with a strong background in solutions architecture and enterprise consulting. Previously, Manuel served as Solutions Architect for Micro Focus, where roles involved driving legacy modernization projects across Iberia and LATAM, and as Post-sales Manager at CAST, offering support and expertise in Software Quality Assurance processes in Spain and Portugal. Prior experience also includes working as a Solution Architect at Hewlett-Packard, focusing on legacy application migration, and as a Business Consultant in the finance and insurance sectors with DMR Consulting. Manuel holds a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo.
