Maria Waweru holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Finance. Currently serving as a Supervisor at Withum and an Audit Supervisor at BBD, LLP, Maria has extensive experience in accounting and audit roles. Previous positions include Senior Accountant at the Philadelphia Foundation, where responsibilities included investment reconciliation and financial statement preparation, and Accountant at Turning Points for Children, focusing on budget analysis and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes regulatory roles at Synchrogenix and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups. Maria's educational background is complemented by degrees from Drexel University and Bryn Mawr College, with a strong foundation in economic development.
