Russell Blandamer is a highly experienced software engineering professional currently serving as the Software Engineering Team Lead at BBC since September 2021. Prior to this role, Russell held various positions including Test Lead at Kainos, where responsibilities involved delivering a new service for the Land Registry, and Automation Test Engineer at Sky, focusing on functional and visual regression testing for the NowTV app. With a diverse background in test engineering and automation across multiple organizations such as GfK, RBS, and Capital One, Russell has demonstrated expertise in Ruby, Python, and Kotlin, as well as a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Russell holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Exeter and has a solid educational foundation in mathematics and languages.
