Samuel Semwangu serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bazze, an AI-powered data marketplace for defense and commercial customers, since 2019. In addition, Semwangu co-founded the U.S. Civilian Corps in 2018, aimed at strengthening America's resilience through innovative service pathways. Semwangu was previously a Fellow at Schmidt Futures from 2020 to 2022, contributing to the International Strategy Forum. Earlier experience includes roles as a Sales Engineer at Forcepoint, where emphasis was placed on cybersecurity, and at RedOwl Analytics, focused on mitigating insider threats through behavioral analytics. Samuel Semwangu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mandarin from Northwestern University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
