Waylon Nelson is an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician currently employed at Baytex Energy Corp. since February 2022. Prior to this position, Waylon worked at Mercer International, where responsibilities included Electrical and Instrumentation Technician duties from October 2020 to November 2022. Waylon also served as Instrument Manager at Control Tech Ltd from November 2016 to October 2020 and held the position of Branch Manager at Nexsource from October 2014 to January 2017. Earlier in the career, Waylon was an Instrumentation Technician at Tarpon Energy Services from January 2005 to November 2014. Waylon's educational background includes a Journeyman Instrumentation degree and 4th Power Engineering from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
