Alex Johnson currently serves as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Administrator in the Bayless School District, focusing on enhancing the extracurricular experience for students through the principles of Accountability, Leadership, Love, Integrity, and Nourishment. Prior to this role, Alex was the Activities Director at Clinton School District, where similar core values were emphasized. Experience also includes serving as the Athletic Director for Socorro Consolidated Schools and educator at Socorro High School, contributing as a Head Coach for Boys Track & Field and Special Teams Coordinator for football. Earlier career stages involved teaching and coaching at Schimelpfenig Middle School and Mountainair Public Schools. Alex holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration & Management from Eastern New Mexico University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Missouri State University.
