Ulrich Netzel is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Director Finance Late Development at Bayer since August 2015, Ulrich acts as a business partner for management functions within clinical development and operations with a significant cost volume responsibility. Prior to this role, Ulrich was Deputy Director R&D Finance at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc., managing a substantial annual budget and overseeing both global and local R&D operations. Earlier, Ulrich held the position of Head of Global Processes and Reporting in R&D Controlling at Bayer Pharma AG, where responsibilities included coordination of financial processes across multiple levels.
