Shweta Rai is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, Shweta serves as Managing Director India and Country Division Head South Asia for Pharmaceuticals at Bayer, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, Shweta was the Business Unit Head at Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities included leadership in the Pharma and Devices sectors from June 2014 to September 2019. Shweta's earlier roles included Associate Director Sales and Marketing at MSD, with an emphasis on sales, marketing, and market access from July 2007 to June 2014, and Senior Business Manager at IQVIA focusing on market research and consulting from January 2005 to June 2007. Shweta began the career as a Brand Manager at Pfizer, joining through a campus recruitment program. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Program in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a Master's in Marketing from SIES College of Management Studies, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology from Miranda House, Delhi University.
