Jannis Busch is an accomplished IT Product Manager at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, specializing in Insight Generation for Medical Affairs since October 2013. Key responsibilities include developing NLP-driven applications and promoting the use of science in Inclusion and Diversity initiatives within the R&D organization. As the Lead Product Developer for Bayer R&D's Stranger Things project, Jannis oversees software development, including front- and backend tasks, leveraging technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and AWS. Jannis has previously managed the Grants4Apps program across the APAC region and worked in various roles within Bayer during a combined Business Administration and Computer Science trainee program. Prior to Bayer, Jannis was a Digital Marketing Junior Manager at Bayer Yakuhin, focusing on digital strategy development. Jannis holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Berlin University of Applied Sciences and has additional education from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
