Arun Sankarapillai has extensive experience in IT leadership within the agricultural sector, currently serving as the interim Head of Asia Pacific Commercial IT Delivery at Bayer since February 2019, where Arun has successfully implemented a new operating model to ensure regional business continuity. Prior roles at Bayer include Head of Product Engineering and Management, where Arun oversaw an $18M portfolio and enhanced digital product integration, and Senior Development Manager for the Customer Platform, managing a portfolio exceeding $20M. Previously at Monsanto Company, Arun held various positions, including Development Manager for both the Customer and Field Platforms, where leadership was demonstrated in managing teams and driving innovative software solutions. Educational qualifications include an MBA in CIS and Project Management from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
