Lisa Scanlon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and development across various organizations. Currently the Director of Communications and Development at Bay State Community Services, Inc. since 2012, Lisa has been involved in leadership roles such as Co-Chair of the AJEDI Committee and Marketing and Communications Chair as a Board Member. In addition to community service in Scituate, Massachusetts, where significant contributions include co-founding the Scituate Plastic Bag Ban and serving as Secretary for the Community Choice Aggregation Committee, Lisa has held various positions focusing on communications strategy and program management. Notably, achievements include the strategic development of programs at GateHouse Media New England that improved retention rates and increased participation in educational initiatives at The Patriot Ledger. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Teaching from Boston University and a Graduate Certificate in NonProfit Human Services Management from Suffolk University.
