Steven Jackson has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and quality assurance. Steven started their career at Mattel Interactive as a QA Software Test Engineer, where they evaluated and tested software products for quality and stability. Steven then moved on to Hewlett-Packard as a QA/PC Technician, where they evaluated customer returned PCs and tested third-party products for compatibility issues.
Following that, they joined NVIDIA as a vBIOS Q/A Technician, where they acquired and installed BIOS releases for target products and tested their functionality, stability, performance, and image quality. At Monterey Bay Aquarium, they served as a Web DevOps Engineer, Analyst, and Web QA Engineer. In this role, they migrated the team from Visual SourceSafe to Subversion and then to DVCS system Git. Steven also simplified the process of deploying and producing stable releases, significantly reducing planning time.
Currently, Steven is working as a DevOps Engineer at Bay Photo Lab.
From 1999 to 2000, Steven Jackson attended Heald College-Concord and obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Technology.
