Jo Ellis is an experienced educational leader and nonprofit director, currently serving as the Director of Education at Bay Area Lyme Foundation since March 2023, where the focus is on Lyme disease awareness and prevention. Previously, Jo held the position of Executive Director at FRED Leadership, advancing ethical leadership values from November 2019 to March 2023. Jo's extensive background includes leading education outreach initiatives at Bay Area Lyme Foundation from 2014 to 2019, managing middle and high school programs at Pacific Rim International School, and serving as Head of School at Helios School. Jo's earlier roles include curriculum coordination and teaching at Bowman School, as well as significant contributions in human resources and executive education programs at Charles Schwab and Stanford Alumni Association, respectively. Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Cambridge and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
