Anita Desai is a dedicated attorney currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid since September 2022. With prior experience as a Summer Intern in the Civil Defense Practice at Neighborhood Defender Service and as a Summer Legal Intern at The Legal Aid Society, Anita has developed strong skills in legal support. Anita also contributed as a Research Analyst at Innovations for Poverty Action from July 2018 to July 2019 and gained legal experience as a Legal Assistant at White & Case LLP for two years. Anita holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Swarthmore College.
