Lydia Funke is an accomplished teaching artist and theatre professional with extensive experience in educational and performance arts. Currently, Lydia holds positions as a Teaching Artist at multiple organizations, including Irondale Ensemble Project, Free Arts NYC, Treehouse Shakers, BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange, and New York Theatre Workshop. In addition, Lydia serves as Assistant Director and Assistant Stage Manager for the production "Communion" at the cell theatre. Lydia's previous roles encompass an Education Programs Associate and Interim Education Programs Assistant at BAX, as well as a Theatre Director and Producer for the TYA Play "Wave Me Good-bye." Lydia is also active as a Tour Guide for Sidewalk Food Tours and works as an Audience Services Representative at Signature Theatre Company. Lydia holds a Master's degree in Educational Theatre from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
