Vellu Maurola is an experienced professional in the audio and music industries, currently serving as the Director of Creative Audio Productions and an Audio Branding Specialist at Bauer Media Audio – Suomi since January 2020. As the owner of Slow Music Design since March 2001, Vellu creates audio identities for brands and composes theme music for TV shows and films. With a career as a DJ spanning over 30 years, Vellu has performed at over 1500 gigs and is a four-time Finnish DMC mixing champion. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Striim Group Oy, Director of Content Creation and Partnerships at Rovio Entertainment Ltd., and a composer at Warner Chappell Scandinavia, among others. Vellu's educational background includes a BBA in Marketing from Mercuria Business School.
