Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Pöllath, born in 1953, studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Stuttgart and the Technical University of Munich. In 1979 he began his career at Ed. Zueblin AG. From 1989 to 1991 he was branch manager at Züblin Spezialtiefbau GmbH, Munich, before he was managing director of Züblin Spezialtiefbau GmbH, Stuttgart from 1991 to 2002. From 2001 to 2005 he also headed the foreign department of Züblin International GmbH. From 2003 to 2018 he was a member of the board of directors of Ed. Zueblin AG. From 2011 to 2018 he was also Vice President Technology of the Main Association of the German Construction Industry. He was also involved for many years as a member of the Board of the Foundation for Civil Engineering and the Bauakademie Biberach and as Chairman of the German Construction Technology and Concrete Association.
