Matthew Vasquez is an experienced engineer currently working at Applied Invention since September 2022. In addition, Matthew has been involved with BattleBots as a CAD Designer and Builder since February 2015, where significant contributions include designing, building, and driving the 250lb. combat robot "Whiplash" featured on various television networks. Previously, Matthew gained valuable experience as a paid intern at Meggitt Safety Systems in July 2016, conducting time studies for the Operations department. Matthew holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where studies were undertaken from 2017 to 2021.
