Mitch Roberson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Mitch started their career in 2001 as a Business and Administrative Coordinator at Shearman and Sterling, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, Mitch joined Healthways as a Content Developer for a year. From 2010 to 2022, they worked at Vanderbilt University as an Assistant Director, responsible for research coverage and writing research profiles on prospects. Mitch's most recent role is as a Business Intelligence Manager at Bass, Berry & Sims, starting in 2022.

Mitch Roberson pursued their higher education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1985 to 1989. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Vermont College and obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree specializing in Creative Writing, specifically focusing on Poetry.
