Kermit Price possesses extensive experience in the field of agronomy and crop science, with a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Head of Breeding, Trait Development & Operations at BASF since August 2018, Kermit Price has held positions such as Global Crop Technical Lead for Soybeans and Regional R&D Lead for North America. Prior to BASF, Kermit Price worked at Bayer Crop Science for 16 years, fulfilling roles including Technical Integration Manager and TD Field Operations Manager for multiple crops. Earlier career experience includes positions at Opti-Crop and Aventis Crop Science, with foundational education obtained through a PhD and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Texas Tech University.
