Gaurav Sharma is an accomplished IT and digital leader with extensive experience in the agricultural solutions sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of IT and Digital Efficiencies for Seeds & Traits at BASF since May 2013, Gaurav is tasked with providing technology and digital leadership for the field crops and vegetable seeds business. Previous roles include Global IT Integration Lead, Manager of Business Excellence in Regional Marketing for Crop Protection, and Head of IT, Data Management and Business Processes for Agricultural Solutions in North America. Prior to BASF, Gaurav worked at Becker Underwood from November 2004 to May 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing the Business Intelligence department and serving as Global Business Analytics Manager. Gaurav's career began as an IT and Applications Analyst Intern at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica. Gaurav holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
