Mark Morris has a wealth of work experience in the field of biochemistry. Mark began their career in 2003 as a Research Chemist at Union College. Mark then worked as a Research Chemist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the IBM Almaden Research Center in 2004. In 2005, they were a Research Chemist at the SUNY-Buffalo, where they conducted SELEX based assays on RNA internal loop libraries and determined the binding constants of selected sequences. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at Kent State University, where they conducted biophysical and biochemical experiments. In 2012, they began working as a Senior Scientist at Base Pair Biotechnologies, Inc. and as a Biomedical Laboratory Tech Analyst at the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/FHT).
Mark Morris received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Union College in 2005. Mark then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Chemistry from SUNY-Buffalo in 2007. Finally, they completed their Ph.D in Biochemistry from Kent State University in 2012.
