Maria Soderberg has over 25 years of experience in human resources. Maria began their career as a Human Resource Advisor at Sequel Concepts, Inc. in 1997 before moving on to become a Human Resource Manager at SVI America Corporation in 1998. At SVI America Corporation, Maria was responsible for managing all areas of HR for the company's North America operations. In 2007, they joined LifeSpan Incorporated as an HR and HR Operations Manager, where they played a dual role as an HR Business Partner and HR Operations Manager. Maria contributed to the development of the organization's Human Capital strategy and implemented it for the assigned districts. Since 2010, Maria has been working at Barnhardt Manufacturing Company, initially as a Director of Human Resources and currently as the Vice President of Corporate Human Resources. Maria'sresponsibilities include leading all HR functions, with a strategic focus on talent management. Maria has been a member of the executive leadership team at Barnhardt Manufacturing Company.

Maria Soderberg earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. Maria furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from the same institution, studying from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, Maria has obtained two professional certifications. In 2002, they became a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they received the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
